Vanilla Chat Plugin Integration Tutorial

From now add you chat to Vanilla Forums. Vanilla is yet another awesome Internet forum software. With its second version (Vanilla 2) lots of new features emerged including among the others the GPL importer, Single Sign On, Themes and WYSIWYG Editor. Vanilla has also firmly expanded directory with numerous addons, so it could not miss our chat plugin.

This article sheds light on the integration of Chatwee chat plugin to Vanilla Forums.

Add Vanilla chat plugin to forum

 

  1. Download Vanilla chat plugin to your local hard drive.
  2. Unzip this file into your Vanilla’s /plugins  directory.
  3. Log in to your Vanilla administrative area and navigate to Manage Plugins area.
  4. Locate Chatwee plugin on the plugins list and Click Install.
  5. Register new Chatwee account on chatwee.com to get the installation code.
  6. Copy and paste your code into Chatwee Configuration section. Click Submit button beneath to save your changes.
